North Georgia’s Glory 1330 was born in the heart of Mike Wofford in 1997.

In 1998, God put His clear purpose for this station in Mike’s heart.

Soon afterwards, in His own wondrous way, God opened all the doors that made it possible for a legally blind man to sign on the air in November 1998 with a new Christian radio voice.

Glory 1330 has one motivating purpose: TO BRING GLORY TO JESUS.

Beginning with a staff of only three people, God has given the increase which now includes a more powerful transmitter, a wonderful loyal audience in twelve counties, and friends from all over the world with the website, glory1330.com.

That’s why we say “at WGTJ -WE’VE GOT THE JOY!”

  1. Hello!

My name is Anthony Arena, and I wanted to tell you about an incredible organization of students at North Forsyth High School called Simple Charity. Simple Charity is a faith-based high school club started in March of 2014 with the goal of raising $100,000 to fight global poverty during the 2014-2015 school year. It’s led by a dynamic group of high school students who have made money for various charities by hosting a chili dinner, doing two yard sales, having a poetry slam, hosting a Battle of the Bands event, and even making their own t-shirts out of spray paint and bleach! These students have worked hard all year and raised $30,000 during the fall semester; they deserve some recognition! That money went to the causes of hunger, education, and clean water. Just during the clean water theme alone, Simple Charity gave over 2,500 people clean water for life through Just One: Africa. I think that you all should seriously consider doing a story on them. For more information, you can contact the one who started Simple Charity, Brian Grasso. His email is bgrasjune31997@gmail.com and phone number is 770-871-8540.
