Feb. 7, 2013 – Hall County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested a 14-year-old boy from Chestatee Academy for making threats at school.

The  7th grader  is accused of making comments about “shooting up the school.”

Another student overheard the comments and told parents, who told school officials.

The student, whose identity was not released, was arrested and booked into the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center and charged with one count of terroristic threats.

Higgins said the student has been suspended from school pending a disciplinary tribunal.
