Charles Weaver was found shot to death this morning at a car dealership as in Gainesville this morning.
Police were called at about 8 a.m. today to Carriage Mitsubishi at 2801 Browns Bridge Road after an employee found Weaver’s body in the rear of the complex, Cpl. Kevin Holbrook, spokesman for the department, said. Holbrook said the incident likely happened in the early morning.
Weaver also is an employee of the dealership and managers there called him part of the “work family.”
Police are investigating with the assistance of GBI and they are currently looking for a red 2011 Nissan Frontier that they say was stolen shortly after the death. The car has the Carriage marking on it and the tag reads BSA7013.
Gainesville police warned that the subject who has the car could be armed and dangerous.
Few other details were available about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the motivation of the suspect.
Dealership managers said the owners are offering $10,000 for information that leads to the suspect.
