GAINESVILLE — School Superintendents Will Schofield of Hall County and Chris Erwin of Banks County are among the four finalists for Georgia’s 2013 Superintendent of the Year.
The other finalists are Thomas Lockamy of Savannah-Chatham County Schools and Michelle Taylor of Calhoun City Schools.
The winner will be announced on Nov. 30 at the awards luncheon during the Georgia School Superintendents Association and Georgia School Boards Association’s Winter Conference in Cobb County.
Association Executive Director, Herbert Garrett, said the thing that impressed him most about Schofield is his willingness to see opportunities where others may see challenges.
