Dec. 10, 2012 – Forsyth County authorities think they’ve solved four burglaries after the arrest of 21-year-old Cumming resident, Austin Thomas Schwartzenberger.

Investigators said Schwartzenberger turned himself in Thursday after a lookout was posted for him.

He’s been charged with the burglaries of four homes in the Bethelview Road area and could be booked in two more cases. The four burglaries took place between November 26th and December 5th according to a statement from Forsyth County investigators.

Sgt. Scotty Spriggs said Schwatrzenberger could be connected to other recent break-ins in the area.

According to Sgt. Spriggs, “The suspect would ring the doorbell of the home. When no one answered, he would go around to the back of the home and enter the residence through a window.”

“He was taking items that he could easily transport like jewelry, wallets, and iPads. Then, he would take these items to gold shops or pawn shops so he could get cash for them,” said Sgt. Spriggs.
