Jan. 28, 2013 – The Hall County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are again seeking your help in the search for Hannah Truelove’s killer.

Its been five months since the 16-year-old Gainesville High School student was found dead near her home and there have been no major breaks in the investigation.

Truelove was found Aug. 24 behind Lake Lanier Club Apartments, where she and her mother lived.

Her body was discovered by a resident in a heavily wooded area between the apartment complex and Lake Lanier.

Investigators said she had been stabbed multiple times.

Investigators are looking for a late 1990s to early 2000s four-door car, possibly a Chevrolet or Dodge, they said. That car may have been in the area of Lake Lanier Club Apartments during the evening of Aug. 23.

The car is light silver with heavy damage to the front end and a driver’s door that is either white or a lighter shade of silver.

Investigators believe the occupants of the vehicle may have important information that will aid the investigation.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the case or the car described to call the Hall County tip line at 770-503-3232, or the GBI tip line at 800-597-8477.
