GAINESVILLE — A jury was seated this week in the case of a 49-year-old Hall County man charged with the aggravated child molestation and statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Weyman Edward Wheeler was arrested more than a year ago after authorities accused him of being involved in a consensual sexual relationship with the girl who has not been identified because of her age.

Judge Kathleen Gosselin is presiding over the case. Wheeler is represented by attorney Dan Summer. Assistant DA Juliet Aldridge is handling the case for the prosecution.
