Mar. 19, 2013 – Jackson County Sheriff’s Office officials Monday said they had a arrested a Maysville man for impersonating a public officer.

According to the sheriff’s office, Christopher Sampson is out on $3000 bond after his arrest Friday.

Sampson allegedly left a voicemail on a woman’s phone claiming he was a deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and was looking for someone.

The woman recognized Sampson’s voice and called authorities
