Jan. 3, 2013 – The Forsyth County planning department has approved a site development permit for a Walmart store.

The county planning department has approved the permit for a nearly 178,000 square foot store on Peachtree Parkway.

The permit approval is good for exactly one year.

Planning & Community Development Director Tom Brown said he hadn’t had any discussions with the company on when it might start site work.
