ATLANTA — Georgians felt the earth tremble Saturday but it wasn’t caused by the Georgia Bulldogs winning the SEC East for the second straight year. Even though that did happen when the Dogs beat Auburn 38-0.
The U.S. Geological Survey said a 4.3 magnitute earthquake centered in Kentucky shook several southeastern states Saturday, including Georgia,Tennessee, North and South Carolina,Virginia and West Virginia.
The USGS website said the epicenter was located about 10 miles west of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
The quake caused no significant damage and no injuries were reported.
