Apr. 3, 2013 – A 27-year-old Forsyth County man is being sought for failure to register as a sex offender and violating his probation.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Curtis Joe Motes is required to register annually as a convicted sex offender and failed to do so in March.

Motes was convicted of child molestation in 2006 in Hall County.

His last known address was 5774 Adrian Lane in Forsyth County.

According to state law, all persons convicted of a criminal sex offense in any state or territory must register once a year with local law enforcement, providing accurate information about where they work and live.

They must also notify authorities if they move.
