GAINESVILLE — Time is running out for those who haven’t registered to vote in the Nov. 6 presidential election.
Voters have until 5 p.m. tomorrow to register. Hall County elections director Charlotte Sosebee says there are several ways to accomplish that, including downloading an application from the Georgia Secretary of State’s website and mailing it to the agency.
“As long as it’s postmarked by (Tuesday), it will be entered into the system,” Sosebee said.
Residents also can register at a library or a public assistance office, such as the Department of Family and Children Services or at Department of Motor Vehicle Safety driver’s license posts.
The most certain way is to come to the elections office at 2875 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville.
Early voting begins a week from today and runs through Oct. 27. Voters can cast their ballot at the elections office.
