WINDER – - Authorities haven’t made a positive identification of the body found encased in concrete behind a Winder residence this week. But they have charged twin brothers William and Christopher Cormier with murder.
Winder police officer Chris Cooper said medical examiners determined the man died of blunt force trauma to the head and was buried about a month ago behind a home belonging to the twins’ father.
Although the victim has not been positively identified, authorities believe he is 30-year-old Sean Dugas of Pensacola who was last heard from on Aug. 27, when he was scheduled to have lunch with a friend the next day. When the friend went to pick him up for the meal, he wasn’t at home. She continued to try and reach him and when she was unsuccessful, finally reported his disappearance to Penaacola police.
Police in Pensacola determined that the brothers knew Dugas and they contacted Winder police who visited the home where the body was found. After talking to the twins’ father, police got a search warrant to investigate an area in the yard that appeared to have been recently disturbed.
