Two Accidents With Injuries Close Hall County Roads

GAINESVILLE – In a 10 minute span last night, Hall County emergency units responded to the scene of two separate accidents. Both closed major arteries through the county.

A four-vehicle accident at 7:43 p.m. on Cleveland Highway at Bells Mill Bridge involved four vehicles and a bicyclist. Three of those injured were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. That accident caused a fuel leak that led authorities to close Cleveland Highway.

At 7:51 p.m. emergency workers responded to a wreck on Brown’s Bridge Road west of McEver Road involving a motorcyclist. The road was closed briefly while an air ambulance was called in. But due to the severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries, he was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center instead.

Authorities have not released the name of any of those injured.
