Two Gainesville Men Arrested for Hall Co. Thefts

Hall County Sheriff’s office reports that 32 year old Wesley Hallman and 20 year old Bradley Norton were arrested Tuesday for thefts and burglaries in east Hall County.

According to Sgt. Kiley Sargent on December 27th an alert resident on Broome Road observed what appeared to be a suspicious vehicle in their neighborhood.

Sargent said, that resident contacted 911 to where a Deputy was dispatched to the area. After receiving a vehicle description and a direction of travel, the Deputy located the vehicle and persons in question. Investigators were called to the scene and the occupants of that vehicle were identified and questioned.

During the course of the investigation, Investigators were able to identify numerous locations where the suspects had committed thefts and burglaries.

According to officials, it was determined the suspects had entered or attempted to enter several homes in the 3100 block of Broome Road and 2900 block of Oconee Circle.

Sargent said deputies did recover an arc welder worth and estimated $1900.

According to the Sheriff’s office, Hallman is charged with felony theft by taking and four counts of first degree burglary.

Norton is charged with first degree burglary, three counts of attempted burglary and felony theft by taking.

Sgt Sargent said, more charges are expected.
