Jan. 18, 2013 - Forsyth County’s long-awaited $100 million jail/courthouse construction project will begin next week, beginning with the demolition of the 246 space pardking deck. Commissioners awarded the work to Industrial Facilities Solutions of Gainesville and approved the $385,000 contract at yesterday's meeting. Hall County’s New Tax Commissioner Extends Office Hours

Jan. 10, 2013 - The Hall County Tax Commissioner's office will now be serving citizens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday in an effort to better meet the needs of Hall County residents. Jan. 3, 2013 - New Hall County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dick Mecum, Commissioner Jeff Stowe, Sheriff Gerald Couch, Tax Commissioner Darla Eden, Surveyor Jason Lourie and Judge Patti Walters Laine. The new officials wish to tell about their hopes for their time in office during the South Hall Business Coalition meeting at 8 AM January 31st.
