Jan. 24, 2013 - A White County man is facing an aggravated assault charge after allegedly hitting his wife on the head with a hammer. Sheriff's Captain Tim Chapman said 60 year old Hoyt Sosebee of Cleveland faces the assault charges after the incident that occurred on Skitts Mountain Road. The victim was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment. Still no word on the extent of her injuries.
