Jan. 16, 2013 - Road Closure Notice for Gainesville due to necessary repairs. Montrose Drive will be closed from Holly Drive to Woodland Drive. There will be no through traffic allowed on the road until further notice.

Jan. 16, 2013 - Yesterday firefighters extinguished a house fire just east of Gainesville, where all the occupants managed to escaped. Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said the call came at nearly 11 AM for the house on Fern Drive. The fire is under investigation.
