Jan. 3, 2013 - January 14 two new members of the Hall County Legislative Delegation will be sworn in at the start of the session. Lee Hawkins will represent the 27th District in the state House of Representatives, which covers North Hall County and part of White County. Timothy Barr will represent the newly redrawn 103rd District, which is parts of South Hall and North Gwinnett counties.

North Hall Fire Destroys Cabinet Shop

Dec. 07, 2012 - Last night a fire in North Hall destroyed a cabinet shop on Hidden Valley Road. According to Fire Chief David Kimbrell the building was unoccupied and there were no injuries. The building and its contents were declared a total loss.

New Fire Stations for North Hall

Dec. 3, 2012 - Looks like Hall County is getting ready to have two new fire stations in North Hall. Exact sites are confidential until they are under contract. A new station will be built somewhere north of Mount Vernon Road, and Station 3 on Short Road off Price Road will be relocated on Mount Vernon. Hall County Rabies Cases

Nov. 29 - The 22nd case of rabies this year has been confirmed by Hall County Animal Control. Hall officials said, A skunk that made contact with a dog in the Elrod Road area of North Hall was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab-Virology Section in Decatur. Positive alert signs will be posted in the area where the rabid skunk was found. Residents who see an animal acting abnormally in the area are advised to contact Hall County Animal Services…

Hall County Board of Education Budget Projection
