Jan. 3, 2013 - New Hall County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dick Mecum, Commissioner Jeff Stowe, Sheriff Gerald Couch, Tax Commissioner Darla Eden, Surveyor Jason Lourie and Judge Patti Walters Laine. The new officials wish to tell about their hopes for their time in office during the South Hall Business Coalition meeting at 8 AM January 31st. The meeting will be held at the Mulberry Creek Community Center in Flowery Branch.

New Elected Officials for Hall Co Legislative Delegation to be Sworn In

Jan. 3, 2013 - January 14 two new members of the Hall County Legislative Delegation will be sworn in at the start of the session. Lee Hawkins will represent the 27th District in the state House of Representatives, which covers North Hall County and part of White County. Timothy Barr will represent the newly redrawn 103rd District, which is parts of South Hall and North Gwinnett counties.

Blessing of the Hospital Land

Dec. 11, 2012 - A large plot of land in South Hall was blessed Sunday by area clergy and dignitaries, including Governor Nathan Deal. The 119 acre plot will become the home of a 100 bed hospital in the spring of 2015.
